“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” isn’t coming back until the summer, but that hasn’t stopped the cast form dropping some exciting teasers about what’s in store. The latest tidbit comes from Melinda May actress Ming-Na Wen, who recently saw the Season 6 trailer.

“Just saw a promo for S6 of #AgentsofSHIELD. I got goosebumps!! So proud! IT’S EPIC!” she wrote on Twitter.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t know when her followers will see the promo video. However, she thanked “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” fans for their patience during the show’s longest hiatus ever. ABC aired the Season 5 finale in May, and there still isn’t a premiere date for Season 6. The network has only said it will air in summer, meaning the hiatus will likely end up being over a year.

“Not sure when they’ll release something for our fans. But trust me, it’s worth the wait! Thank you for your loyalty & patience,” Wen added.

When Melinda May was last seen, she was in Tahiti with Coulson (Clark Gregg), who was dying after his deal with Ghost Rider. Did she return to S.H.I.E.L.D. after Coulson’s death? Or did she help the former director find a way to survive? Fans will have to wait and see if their questions are answered this summer.

While Coulson’s fate is up in the air, Mack (Henry Simmons) will definitely be returning. He has stepped up as the new director. As previously reported, he’ll find it difficult to order his friends to risk their lives for the greater good.

“The one thing that can hinder Mack’s ability to lead is his reluctance to put the people he loves in the line of danger,” Simmons told TVLine. “As a result, this may lead to Mack’s toughest decision as director. What sacrifices will be made?”

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 6 does not have a return date, but fans can rest assured that there are still plenty of new adventures on the way for the secret agents. ABC already renewed the Marvel show for a seventh season.
