Amber Heard is stacking the cards in her favor as she prepares to go head-to-head with estranged husband Johnny Depp. The pair announced in May that they were divorcing due to irreconcilable differences, but things have progressively gotten uglier in the months since then. The “Magic Mike XXL” star claims Depp was physically and emotionally abusive to her and she’s got plenty of proof.

Just days after video surfaced on the internet of the “Alice: Through the Looking Glass” star shouting and slamming cabinets, yet another potentially incriminating piece of evidence has become public. On Monday, TMZ was able to obtain photos from an incident in which Heard and Depp, 53, are said to have got into a heated argument in March 2015. The publication reports that in a fit of rage the Kentucky-born actor lopped of his finger tip. He then allegedly dipped the bleeding finger in a container of dark blue paint, sprawling “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” onto a mirror in an Australian villa they were sharing at the time. Depp is said to have accused his wife of having been unfaithful with actor Billy Bob Thornton.

Heard alleges that Depp was drunk and high on ecstasy when the incident occurred. In addition to writing in paint and blood on a mirror, Depp is said to have slammed a phone into a wall and smashed several bottles and windows. Heard, 30, claimed that Depp believed she and Thornton had been intimate while working on a film together. She denied those allegations as well as others she said he made about her during their marriage.

On Aug. 12, TMZ obtained video of a heated fight between Heard and Depp. The Texas native and her legal team have been accused of leaking the video for their own personal gain, but they continue to deny those claims. The following day, Heard told E! Online she was taking steps to have the video removed from the internet as it was never her intention to have it go public. The clip in question shows Depp yelling at Heard for an unknown reason. He is also believed to throw a wine bottle and glass in her direction. In the video, Heard asks her then-husband why he is so upset before reminding him that they had been getting along so well that day.

“Nothing happened this morning, you know that?” she says to him. “I just woke up and you were so sweet and nice — we were not even fighting this morning. All I said was ‘sorry.’”

Sources close to Depp claim the video is “heavily edited.” They also state that there are several points in the video in which Heard appears to be “smiling and egging him on.” Insiders believe she set him up, though these claims remain unconfirmed.
