Amy Duggar King slammed a rude social media user who told her to “pick up the pace” when it comes to having more kids and commented on her body.

On Sunday, the mom of one took to Instagram to explain that although she tried hard not to publicly respond to a direct message she recently received, she felt compelled to address it due to its content.

“Hello Amy I would just like to say your a good mom but aren’t you a little behind some other famous people who are having 4 babies by the time they are 20? You only have one. He’s so cute. I think your body is fine to have more,” read the message shared by Amy.

“I like you to have a fun life but don’t be selfish with your life. Pick up the pace you should have been pregnant again like yesterday. Ok gurl well if you need help losing weight I can help you. Just dm.. so much love,” the social media user continued.

Amy, who welcomed son Daxton Ryan with husband Dillon King last year, didn’t take the comments lightly and responded with a lengthy message. She said that she was “flabbergasted” that someone had the “audacity” to send a message like this and to tell others to have more kids.

“My body has been through alot and it gave me the sweetest boy ever. Yes of course it was worth it. But I still need to heal. C- sections are no joke and vertigo is/ was very hard on me. I still get dizzy sometimes but I’m getting stronger everyday,” Amy wrote in her message addressed to “Karens.”

Amy went on to explain that with how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected her business, she feels like she cannot handle another pregnancy while also working on her clothing store, 3130.

“Children are such a blessing, but I can’t imagine being pregnant again right now. I’d be unmotivated, emotional, stressed out and not in a good head space and that’s ok to admit,” she said.

The daughter of “19 Kids and Counting” Jim Bob Duggar’s sibling, Deanna, added that she wants to focus on her 1-year-old child and that she doesn’t want to miss anything during her son’s toddler stage. She also pointed out that a woman’s body “is not a factory.”

“Yes our bodies can do miraculous things! But I hate that phrase ‘pop out’ umm. No. It’s WORK. And our bodies go through alot!” she continued.

Amy also pointed out that some women, including herself, prefer not to have big families, though she is considering fostering or adopting. But she also praised those who were blessed with “superhuman strength” and could handle raising a large number of children.

Concluding her rant, Amy expressed that she’s “over” being compared to others. “It's exhausting always being compared to other people. I'm in my thirties now, away from that show and I'm so over it,” she wrote. “It just has to stop.”
