The mystery behind the disappearance of Ana Walshe continued to deepen as an eerie note written in bright red letters was found at her home.

The details of the note revealed the Massachusetts mother was looking forward to the year ahead of the New Year's Eve party just hours before she disappeared, an exclusive New York Post article mentioned.

"Wow! 2022...What a year! And yet, we are still here and together! Let's make 2023 the best one yet! We are the authors of our lives...courage, love, perseverance, compassion, and joy. Love, Ana," the message on the side of a Lanson Noble Cuvee champagne box read.

The champagne was found in the dining room of Ana and husband Brian Walshe's Cohasset home. Since the party, no one seems to have visited the house, the New York Post reported.

The 39-year-old mother was last seen alive at her home on Jan. 1, following a dinner party with her husband and a friend.

On New Year's Day, she had reportedly booked a rideshare to Boston's Logan Airport to get a flight to Washington, D.C. It's unclear if Ana took the rideshare to the airport; however, investigators found she did not board the flight.

Prosecutors said a bloody knife was found in the family's basement. Authorities also found trash bags with blood, a hatchet, a hack saw, a rug, and used cleaning supplies, while searching a Peabody trash station, according to WBZ. Authorities believe the items are likely connected to the latest case.

Ana's husband was charged with misleading investigators, and was being held on a $500,000 bond. He pleaded not guilty Monday at his arraignment.

In an interview, Ana's mother also spoke about her daughter's mindset before her mysterious disappearance.

"She just said, 'Please, mama. Come tomorrow,'" Ana's mother, Milanka Ljubicic, told Fox News Digital in an interview that was conducted in Belgrade. "Which means, that clearly, there must have been some problems."

"I can't get myself together in one day. I am 69 years old, I have to get my medications and a thousand other things," she said during the interview.
