  • Andy Cohen reveals if there is truth to rumors that Lori Loughlin will join 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'
  • 'Real Housewives' cast member Lisa Rinna threw shade at Loughlin
  • Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli entered a plea deal of late

Disgraced actress Lori Loughlin made headlines recently after it was revealed that she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, will be pleading guilty to charges in the college admissions scandal. Aside from this, the “Full House” star was also rumored to be joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but Andy Cohen was quick to refute the speculations.

The producer of the reality show took to his radio show, “Radio Andy,” to put the internet rumors to rest, clarifying that there is no truth to the speculations of Loughlin becoming one of the "Real Housewives," Us Weekly reported.

"There is a whole narrative, apparently, that I am pursuing Lori Loughlin for the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' And the first I heard about that was Twitter,” he explained before Cohen went on to praise Loughlin.

“Lori Loughlin is a very nice person, she's going to have quite a story to tell. And she's always been lovely. So anyway, that is not true," Cohen clarified.

Rumors about Loughlin’s “Real Housewives” casting began swirling in the past weeks after Lisa Rinna took a jab at the 55-year-old and her involvement in the college admissions scandal. The ladies were friendly in the past so the drama was immediately picked up by social media users.

“I’m not gonna put you on a rowing machine and take a picture of you,” Rinna told Amelia, her daughter, while they were talking about college in an episode of the “Real Housewives.”

Rinna appeared to be not-so-subtly throwing shade at Loughlin and her designer husband. Their two daughters, Bella Rose and Olivia Jade, were designated as rowing recruits despite not playing the sport, just to secure their slot at the University of Southern California. The couple took a photo of their daughters on a rowing machine, which college scam ringleader Rick Singer used.

Amelia didn’t find her mother’s joke funny, but the “Real Housewives” cast member laughed hard.

“That was the wrong thing to say. I’m trying to get into USC here. And like, let’s not,” the 18-year-old told her mom, who said that she would never do that.

Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested in March last year and maintained they weren’t guilty of the charges they were slapped with. However, they suddenly sang a different tune recently when they entered a plea deal.
