Angelina Jolie is "making it difficult" for Brad Pitt to have a relationship with their six children, TMZ reported late Wednesday as the couple continue with their bitter custody battle. The report comes just hours after a judge reportedly asked the actress to allow her estranged husband more visitation before the court signs off on a permanent arrangement.

While Jolie is not blocking Pitt from seeing their kids, she is the reason the actor is unable to maintain a good relationship with his children. According to TMZ, Jolie continues to exert influence over her children, mostly affecting the three boys, while the girls are more open toward Pitt. Sources also told the outlet some of the children don't want to see Pitt due to Jolie's influence.

However, a divorce judge issued a report criticizing Jolie for not allowing the children to properly interact with their father. The judge has ordered Pitt can call and text the kids at will, and Jolie can't monitor the conversations.

The "Moneyball" actor has significant custodial time with his six children, who are currently in Los Angeles. But, according to a source, Jolie's continuous effort to drive a wedge between Pitt and the kids has caused a significant impact on his ability to restore his relationship with them.

Pitt and Jolie are parents to six children: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and Vivienne and Knox, 9. Maddox, Pax and Zahara were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia. The other three are the former couple’s biological kids.

Pitt and Jolie got together in July 2005, four months after Pitt’s first ex-wife Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce. They reportedly got engaged in April 2012 and got married in August 2014. In August 2016, Jolie announced she filed for divorce from Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences.

After the divorce was announced, Jolie and Pitt got involved in a custody battle for their kids with the actress requesting for primary custody of their children. The Superior Court of Los Angeles County ordered a joint physical custody over their children for the 2018 summer season.

A judge determined the kids "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them."

Earlier this month, Jolie filed documents in court claiming Pitt hasn't paid any "meaningful" child support when it comes to their six kids. Pitt's lawyers filed their response denying Jolie's claims and saying he's paid the actress over $9 million since their September 2016 split.
