Another winter storm is on its way to the East Coast, not even one week after a massive nor’easter.

This nor’easter is set to begin Saturday night and make its way up the coast as the weekend progresses. Some states, like New York, are still recovering from Winter Storm Olena, who dumped up to three feet of snow across parts of the region on Monday.

This time around, it’s unlikely that the storm will bring 18-36 inches of snow like it did last week, according to CNN Meteorologist Taylor Ward.

"However, there will be a swath of 4-8" from the southern Appalachians through the mid-Atlantic and into the Northeast. If the low pressure is able to track closer to the coast these forecast totals could increase," Ward said.

While a winter storm warning is in effect for those from Georgia to Massachusetts, North Georgia will be the first to see the storm Saturday night. It'll move north to the Carolinas and Virginia and start strengthening as it enters Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.

Temperatures for these East Coast states will stay near or a little above freezing, according to CNN, but wind gusts could make it feel colder, and bring blizzard-like conditions.

For those in New York and New England, you can expect the temperatures to be chillier, but a prediction of 4-8” of snow accumulation is expected there as well.

"This low looks like a classic 4-8 inch snow maker, with amounts dependent on the track. Right now, all of the modeling [...] are too far east to place these higher amounts across the [New York City area]," according to the National Weather Service office in New York.
