Apple has yet to announce any details about the rumored iPhone SE 2. However, many speculations and rumors have been circulating about its features as its last generation is being sold again. Here’s what we know about the Apple iPhone SE 2.

According to MSPowerUser’s report, the new iPhone XR is somehow the replacement for the iPhone SE series as it’s the budget device for the iPhone X generation. While iPhone XR does seem cheaper, it doesn’t have iPhone SE’s compact appearance and small size. While the XR is technically better, many Apple fans still like the iPhone SE’s simple design and comfortable feel in their hand.

Aside from the SE’s known features, the iPhone SE 2’s possible upcoming features have also been discussed in speculations circulating on the internet. Apparently, the possible new iPhone SE may have a “fullscreen” feature where the whole front of the device is a display and the home buttons are part of it too. In addition, the iPhone SE 2 is also speculated to have a glass back and would be compatible with wireless charging support.

Currently, it has not yet been confirmed if there’s any major demand for another iPhone SE. However, many fans seemed interested in seeing the iPhone SE series again when Apple put all their remaining devices on a clearance sale. Even though these devices were around two to three years old and could potentially be unsupported by new updates, many would still like to try it out as it’s small enough to be used by anyone, even when their hands are small.

During CES 2019, Apple seemed to be focused more on providing services to its users rather than showing new devices. While the company didn’t show any of their new devices, many fans are still looking forward to their announcements coming later this year. For now, we can only wait for Apple to talk about the new devices and see if they’re still interested in releasing the iPhone SE 2.
