Apple is said to be working on its own fitness app for the iOS. The new app will feature free fitness videos for its users. The new app is also said to arrive along with the release of the next generation of its smart device operating systems.

The upcoming fitness app is codenamed Seymour and could be renamed to Apple Fit or Apple Fitness as MacRumors reports. The new app is said to provide fitness videos for the users to follow. This move follows Apple’s plan to expand its services, subscriptions and apps that it has been following since 2019.

The fitness videos that will be available on this platform will cover a wide variety of workout routines. Yoga, dance, cycling, running, core training, strength training, outdoor walking, and other exercise routines will be available in this app.

The workout videos would be available to view not only the iPhone but also on the iPad and Apple TV. The Apple Watch could also track the user’s progress as they use the fitness app. This new app is said to be rolled out when the iOS 14, tvOS 14 and watchOS 7.

As of now, Apple has yet to push an official statement out about the full features of the next major software updates for their smart devices. It’s still not confirmed if the new fitness app will be pushed in the next iOS 14 update.

For now, this fitness app could not be included once the next updates are live for everybody’s use.
