Assassin’s Creed Origins is meant to be a much needed reboot to the franchise. In the newest title, you’ll play a medjay named Bayek who seeks revenge against the men who murdered his son. His hunt for his son’s killer leads him to many different areas of Egypt, from Alexandria to Siwa and beyond.

Bayek’s quest leads him to become a medjay to Cleopatra, who’s just one of the many historical figures you’ll encounter in Assassin’s Creed Origins. There’s lots to explore outside of the main quest as well. You’ll encounter gems just by wandering the desert such as hidden temples and puzzles that link to the mystical aspect of the game.
