The rumors are true! Anthony Mackie, who is confirmed to play the role of the Falcon in the planned “Captain America: Civil War” movie, will also bring the role to life in the upcoming “Avengers” sequel – “Age of Ultron.” The good news was confirmed by the credits at the bottom of a new promotional poster for the highly anticipated “Avengers” movie – a treat for fans in and of itself.

The promo poster for the blockbuster sequel was released Monday, giving Marvel lovers a peek at the action to come. The poster shows the titular Avengers – Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) – standing amidst a score of angry looking bad guys.

More important – to fans at least – than the actors shown in the poster is the one named in the credits at the bottom – Anthony Mackie. The credit is the first confirmation that his character – the Falcon – will appear in the big summer blockbuster. However, fans still do not know whether or not the character will play an important role or just a fun cameo. Either way, viewers will be pleased to see him make an appearance.
