Break open that box of wine and make sure you have some tissues. The finale of Season 20 of “The Bachelor” airs Monday, and fans of the ABC reality series are not going to want to miss a second of the emotional final rose ceremony.

Star Ben Higgins started his journey to find love with 28 beautiful women. After 10 weeks he narrowed his search down to two — JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell. The contestants have a strong connection with the 27-year-old software salesman, but he can choose only one. Unfortunately, that decision is not going to be an easy because Ben confessed his love to both of them during the fantasy suite date.

So, who will Ben choose? Fans won’t know the answer until the end of episode, which starts at 8 p.m. EDT. Let’s look back at Ben’s relationship with JoJo and Lauren before he gets down on one knee:

JoJo Fletcher

JoJo certainly made an interesting first impression when she exited the limo wearing a unicorn mask on night one. It was a wonky gimmick that caught Ben’s attention, and the two only went forward from there.

Despite being with a large group of women for her first date, the 24-year-old real estate developer was awarded with the coveted date rose during episode 2. Her bond with Ben grew when she landed her first one-on-one date with him in episode 4. The two embarked on a romantic helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, followed by dinner on the Las Vegas Strip. JoJo used that time to open up about her previous relationship, which ended five months earlier due to trust issues.

Their relationship hit a bump during the hometown date in episode 8 when Ben arrived to find JoJo crying. Her ex-boyfriend had reached out and sent flowers in an attempt to rekindle their relationship. The drama didn’t end there. JoJo’s brothers gave Ben a hard time, accusing him of brainwashing women.

Even though their hometown date wasn’t perfect, Ben didn’t eliminate JoJo from the competition. The following week the two reunited in Jamaica for their overnight date, which went really well. They were able to talk about the awkward situation with her family, and JoJo finally confessed that she was in love with him. Ben told her the feelings were mutual.

Lauren Bushnell

Lauren was the first contestant to exit the limo on night one. The 25-year-old flight attendant gave Ben a set of wings, which helped her land the first rose during the week one ceremony. Despite catching his eye, Lauren didn’t get to go on a date in episode 2. However, she was still on Ben’s mind. Prior to the rose ceremony, he pulled her aside to give her a photo of them together on night one.

“I was thinking about you a lot,” he told her.

The other contestants started noticing their connection a few weeks later when Ben awarded Lauren with the episode 4 group date rose. Jealousy ultimately led Leah to lie to Ben about Lauren, telling him that Lauren is a different person when she’s around him. This confused Ben, causing him to doubt his relationship with Lauren. She ended up in tears by the end of the episode 6 group date; however, Leah’s true colors eventually came out. Ben kept Lauren around and sent Leah packing after she went to his room to further complain about her.

Any doubts Ben had about Lauren disappeared after her hometown date in episode 8. Ben actually started crying when her sister asked why he’s worthy of dating of her. He confessed that he felt “lucky” to be with her, and told Lauren that during their fantasy suite date in episode 9. Lauren took the opportunity to tell him she was in love with him, and Ben said he felt the same.
