Disney movies are always fun to watch but they are also filled with a lot of emotions that can make anyone cry. In a recent poll, the animated movie “Bambi” was voted as the saddest movie ever created by the production giant.

The poll conducted by Radio Times asked the fans to choose which Disney+ title made them really emotional. The classic drama emerged as the clear winner as it received 38% of the votes while “Up” claimed the second spot with 35% of votes.

“Bambi” received most of the votes from women while “Up” was the film that’s most likely to have men bawling their eyes out.

“Bambi” was released in 1942, and it chronicles the journey of a fawn named Bambi who is chosen to be the next prince of the forest like his father. However, a hunter is terrorizing the forest and killing animals for fun.

The most emotional moment of the movie comes when Bambi’s mother is killed by the human hunter, leaving the little fawn mournful and alone.

The film was nominated for three Oscars and claimed the third spot in the American Film Institute’s list of “10 Top 10” animated movies of all time.

Directed by Pete Docter, the movie won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2010.
