The New Year could urge some people to find a new job, and workplace review website Glassdoor says the best company to work for is Facebook.

The career site recently released its 2018 Best Places To Work list, which features numerous tech companies, like Facebook, Google and Microsoft. The scores are based on employees’ happiness in the work environment. Workers that write reviews about the companies are asked to anonymously rate their satisfaction at the firm on a 5-point scale, 1.0 being “very dissatisfied” and 5.0 being “very satisfied.”

With a score of 4.6, Facebook moved up to take the first spot after it was ranked No. 2 last year. Over the years, Facebook has held top spots on the list and has previously been ranked No. 1. Facebook’s previous "Best Places to Work" rankings were: 2018 (#1), 2017 (#2), 2016 (#5), 2015 (#13), 2014 (#5), 2013 (#1), 2012 (#3), 2011 (#1).

“Probably the most important thing is the people who work here really believe in what we’re doing,” Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said in a video shared by Glassdoor. “We believe that when we share who we are with the people we want to share with, it enhances our lives.”

Google also took a top spot, coming in at No. 5 with a score of 4.6. Marketing and sales platform HubSpot came in a No. 7, World Wide Technology at No. 8, Salesforce at No. 13, LinkedIn at No. 21 and Microsoft at No. 39.

Apple went down 48 places from last year’s No. 36 spot, dropping to No. 84 this year. It’s the worst spot Apple has been at in the past 10 years. Apple’s Best Places to Work ranking over the years has been: 2018 (#84), 2017 (#36), 2016 (#25), 2015 (#22), 2014 (#35), 2013 (#34), 2012 (#10), 2011 (#20), 2010 (#22), 2009 (#19).
