KEY POINTS

  • Kim may follow her plan in "Better Call Saul" Season 6
  • Lalo is expected to kill Nacho
  • The spin-off will have more connections with "Breaking Bad"

“Better Call Saul” Season 6 will be the last for the prequel spin-off series. There will be a lot of exciting stories that will mark the end of the journey for some of the characters while connecting the plot to the main “Breaking Bad” series. The show is expected to show what happens to Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) in the future where he is no longer working as a lawyer.

Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) took a really dark turn in Season 5, and according to a theory by Screen Rant she will continue down that road in Season 6. After planning to end Howard’s (Patrick Fabian) career, she may follow through with her plans even though Jimmy has warned her not to do it.

Destroying Howard’s career will have consequences for Kim. She will either go to jail for her crimes or call the vacuum store to disappear for a while. The other possibility is that Kim will get killed by the cartel.

Jimmy on the other hand may finally shift into his new office at the strip-mall that fans saw him work from in the “Breaking Bad” series. He could also get a Cadillac with the “LWYRUP” plates as seen in the main series.

If “Better Call Saul” Season 6 has a warm and positive ending, it could be about Jimmy in the future where Kim will find him. The two lawyers could give up their passion for law, forget about the past, and live as a happy couple doing minor jobs.

In a previous interview with Deadline, Odenkirk said that he too wants a happy ending for both Jimmy and Kim. However, the actor pointed out that it is difficult to see how that could happen after the recent events on the show.

A big part of the next season will be Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton). He is out to get revenge and he may end up killing Nacho (Michael Mando). Another character on his list will be Jimmy, which helps connect the spin-off with “Breaking Bad.” According to Screen Rant, the new villain was introduced specifically to connect the two series.

“Better Call Saul” Season 6 is scheduled to air in 2021. The producers are yet to announce a release date.
