After months of trying to fend off rumors of an impending split, insiders close to Beyoncé and Jay Z are stepping forward to claim that a divorce is inevitable due to the rapper's alleged affairs.

“Beyoncé can’t stand her husband anymore,” an "insider" was quoted in Life & Style magazine’s Aug. 18 cover story, “Beyoncé: I Can’t Live With A Cheater.”

According to the tabloid’s sources, the 32-year-old “Single Ladies” performer has decided to move forward with what could be a $1 billion divorce following the end of the duo’s “On The Run” tour on Sep. 13.

“She’s made a decision,” said a source, an unidentified family insider, adding, “She always felt Jay Z doesn’t pay enough attention to her. He acts like she doesn’t exist sometimes. She doesn't understand why he wants to go out rather than come home to her at night."

Despite rumors of Jay Z’s multiple affairs with everyone from Bravo reality-TV star Casey Cohen to singers Rihanna and Rita Ora, insiders say Jay Z, 44, is resisting his wife’s move for a permanent split.

“Jay won’t give up without a fight because he’s used to getting what he wants,” said a source. “And what he wants is to keep her.”

While Jay Z is reportedly fighting for his marriage, even agreeing to attend marriage counseling, insiders report Beyoncé has already determined to move forward with the divorce in an effort to protect their daughter, Blue Ivy, 2.

“Beyoncé says she wants her marriage to work, but now that she has a little girl, she can’t put up with a man if she thinks he is cheating,” said an insider. “She wants to be a strong role model for Blue.”

Despite her rumored decision to wait until the end of their joint tour to announce the divorce, insiders claim Beyoncé is already living alone in a “secret” New York City apartment.

“She’s used it for six months now,” said a source. “She stays there a lot.”

While she may already have a place to call her own, the magazine reports that Beyoncé, who was recently spotted apartment-hunting sans Jay Z, is looking to find another New York “bachelorette” pad, preferably in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood.

Life & Style’s report follows Beyoncé’s allegedly tearful performance at her and Jay Z’s concert stop in Los Angeles on Sunday. According to Radar Online, the songstress was seen welling up during a performance of her hit single “Resentment.”

“She looked like she had been crying from the time the concert began,” said one concertgoer. “Her eyes were really glassy and red, and it looked like she was just going through the motions on stage. When she finally sat down to sing ‘Resentment,’ she looked like she was ready to let it out.”
