Beyoncé's music videos have been viewed by millions of fans over the years, but thanks to Jay-Z, some were not allowed to watch one in person as it was being filmed.

During a recent interview with The Nostalgia Mixtape, rapper Bun B shared the surprising story about what he says took place on the set of Beyoncé's video for her 2005 single, "Check On It." After getting a call from her father, Matthew Knowles, informing him that they wanted him to appear on the record, Bun happily agreed to lend his talents to the track. Following the agreement that he would contribute to the song, he then learned that a Hype Williams-directed video would follow.

However, his time on set took an unexpected turn once he arrived at the video shoot.

"This is in New York. So we’re on the set and we’re filming the video, and if you look at the video, there’s a lot of kind of skimpy outfits. Queenie [Bun B's wife] is there also, so it’s not like I’m there salivating over another woman, but we’re like, 'Woah, this is crazy. Beyonce’s dancing in this short skirt and she’s dancing in like a bikini,' type of thing you know," he said.

Then, stated Bun, Jay-Z called to speak with one of the assistants on set, which is when he learned of the men that were present at the time.

"So he’s like, 'Wait a minute, how many dudes are there?' So she’s like 'Well there’s about 9 or 10 guys that are there.' And he’s like, 'Where are they now?' She says, 'Well, they’re on the sound stage you know, they’re kind of watching everything going on.' 'What is she wearing?' She describes the outfits and he’s like, 'Yo, clear the room,'" he recounted.

Continuing, the UGK member then stated that they were kicked out and told to go back to their dressing rooms due to the fact that Jay was not comfortable with their presence. "We’re not allowed to watch Beyonce dance anymore," he elaborated. However, Queen B herself later apologized for what had transpired. Additionally, he concluded, Jay-Z also spoke to him about what had happened.

"I remember asking Hov about it and he was like, 'Yeah, man, I’m not finna have y’all looking at my girl like that,'" Bun concluded.
