“Big Brother” Season 19 showmance Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson may not have won $500,000, but they now have a chance to compete for $1 million.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the real-life couple will be participating in “The Amazing Race” Season 30. The live event will kick off at the Washington Square Park in New York on Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m., and Graf and Nickson’s fans are invited to attend. As of late, the two are the only names being revealed for the hit CBS reality TV competition.

Graf and Nickson’s casting in “The Amazing Race” did not come as a shock to fans since the two became fan favorites during their stint in “Big Brother” Season 19. The underdogs were targeted by the other houseguests and were also bullied at one point in the competition, according to the same publication.

The couple also spoke with the publication and shared how they found out they have been cast in the show. According to Graf, she received a call and was asked if she wanted to do “The Amazing Race.” She said yes and asked Cody, who also agreed to participate.

Nickson, who was inside the jury house for five weeks before the “Big Brother” Season 19 finale, revealed that he already knew he will be part of Season 30 even before he won America’s Favorite Houseguest.

When asked how they will strategize on the show, Graf said that Nickson will be the boss this time around. After all, Graf stepped up for the both of them while they were still in the house. “The process with us is pretty simple; I decide on something without thinking, it fails. She tells me I’m an idiot, then we do it her way,” Nickson joked.

Towards the end of their interview, Nickson threw shade at “Big Brother” 19 houseguest Christmas Abbott after he was asked if they will be better racers than players in “Big Brother.” “A girl with a broken foot won a sprinting competition on ‘BB19.’ Yes, there will be better racers on ‘Amazing Race,’” he said.

“The Amazing Race” Season 30 will premiere on CBS on Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. EDT.
