It’s been less than two days since the “Big Brother” 2020 “All-Star” cast started the game and things are already heating up.

After Cody won the first Head of Household competition of Season 22 during Wednesday’s live premiere, host Julie Chen Moonves revealed a new twist in the game— the Safety Suite. While CBS has yet to announce all aspects of the twist, the show’s live feed has revealed some additional details.

Officially, viewers know that each of the 16 contestants will be given a VIP pass to the Safety Suite, a hidden room in the “Big Brother” house. This Suite, in Moonves’ words, is something “every single houseguest will want.”

On Thursday, the Houseguests competed in the first Safety Suite competition. As noted by Big Brother Network, only two contestants, Janelle and Kaysar, decided to play. The event ended with Kaysar winning and giving a “plus one” safety privilege to Janelle.

This safety advantage comes after Cody, the current HOH, made his plans to nominate Kaysar and Janelle for eviction known to his ally Nicole F. Cody also teased the idea of nominating Keesha and Kaysar with Janelle as a backup.

With Kaysar and Jenelle apparently safe this week, Cody was forced to change his nomination plans Thursday night. While still making it clear to Nicole F. that he sees Janelle as a threat, he noted that he will likely put up Kevin and Keesha in their place.

Keesha appears to be his main target for eviction as he told Nicole F. that Kevin is his “pawn” and he would easily be able to smooth things over with him next week.

Cody is expected to make his nominations official on Friday.
