The singer will be battling it out against Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, and Khalid for the top artist award. His songs “Sunflower” (“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”) and “Wow” have been nominated in the top rap song category.

Meanwhile, Lil Nas X is the second artist to have the most nominations this year with 13 nods. The musician managed to secure a spot on the list of nominees in the top male artist category. Malone, Ed Sheeran, DaBaby, and Khalid are the other four artists nominated in the category.

On the other hand, Eilish continued her golden run in the music industry and received 12 noms, including the top female artist. The “Bad Guy” hitmaker will be up against the likes of Taylor Swift, Halsey, Ariana Grande, and Lizzo for the accolade.

Eilish will also be trying to get her hands on the top Billboard 200 album award as her album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” is one of the five entries that will be up for the coveted trophy. The other entries are Malone’s “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” Swift’s “Lover,” Khalid’s “Free Spirit,” and Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next.”

Kanye West’s recent album “Jesus Is King” nabbed him nine nominations in the Christian categories. West is nominated in categories like top Christian artist, top gospel artist, top Christian album, top gospel album, and top Christian song.

Similarly, BTS, Dan + Shay, The Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5 and Panic! At The Disco will fight it out for Top Duo/Group.
