  • Billie Eilish hits back at body-shamers by reposting a video about normalizing real bodies
  • Several Twitter users showed their support to Eilish following the backlash
  • Cardi B also received some criticisms after accidentally sharing a nude picture online

Billie Eilish seemingly responded to the body-shamers who criticized her body’s shape and size after a photo of her wearing a more revealing set of clothing circulated online. Several celebrities and netizens including Kat Dennings quickly showed their support for the "Lovely" singer.

Eilish was photographed wearing a tank top and shorts on a recent outing — something very rare for the singer who usually wears baggy clothes. The photo immediately gained attention online, and one critic wrote, "In 10 months Billie Eilish has developed a mid-30's wine mom body."

Eilish responded to the body-shamers by reposting a TikTok video of Chizi Duru talking about normalizing real bodies in her Instagram Story. "Can we normalize real bodies?"Eilish captioned her post.

The Grammy winner immediately received support from several celebrities and netizens who didn't see anything wrong with her figure.

"Anyone reacting to @billieeilish having a normal body has to take a hard look at themselves. As someone who looked exactly like that at her age, it’d be nice for this unhealthy nonsense to [explicit] right off. She’s beautiful and normal goodbye!" Dennings wrote on Twitter.

"Leave Billie Eilish and her body alone [explicit] weirdos," Mae Muller added.

"All bodies deserve to be celebrated no matter the shape or size. Kudos to Billie Eilish for being comfortable in her own skin. Suck on that haters," one wrote.

Meanwhile, one pointed out the bizarre criticisms that women like Eilish and Cardi B receive over their bodies and called out those men who prefer women looking like video game characters with "no rib cages" and "gravity defying breasts.”

Just like Eilish, Cardi also went viral after accidentally sharing a nude photo in her Instagram Story. Many criticized the “WAP” rapper’s breasts due to her large areolas, but she didn’t mind the criticisms.

Cardi has also addressed the issue and said she didn’t mean to post it. She also admitted that she was with her ex-husband Offset when the incident happened.
