'Black Clover' Chapter 299 Spoilers: Gaja's Fate After Lolopechka's Attack

Megicula and Lolopechka have managed to turn the tables on Noelle and company. The latest spoilers and scans of "Black Clover" Chapter 299 are expected to arrive Thursday, but it is certain, Noelle and Gaja are going through a miserable phase in the battle.

In the previous chapter, Noelle is shocked to see Megicula appear in her current form. She asks Megicula how did she manage to come when only one of the gates of the Underworld is open.

She tells Noelle the gates are just insurance because her ultimate goal is to manifest using the curse-warding magic named Malevolent Femcantation.

Megicula reveals this spell requires arduous preparation and sacrifices. She reveals how she gained partial manifestation into Vanica's body after cursing Noelle's mother, Acier, to death.

She adds that Vanica, who is a devil host, has entered a contract with her, and now that she is closer to her death, Megicula is able to emerge in her current form, which is still incomplete.

Finally, Megicula talks about Lolopechka, the queen of the Heart Kingdom. She says when Lolopechka and Vanica die, she would be able to completely manifest her true form in this world.

Elsewhere, Lolopechka attacks using the Devil Water Magic named Hydra of Darkneros. Noelle is shocked to see Lolopechka's terrifying magic. She asks Megicula what she has done to the queen.

Megicula tells she only played with the curse and made Lolopechka a devil. Noelle is furious and charges at Megicula but suddenly her spell vanishes.

The devil uses Curse Warding Magic – Decaying World to nullify the opponent's spells. Charlotte uses her spell to counter Megicula. The devil is impressed with Charlotte's attempt to oppose her curse.

Rill appears and attempts to save Charlotte. He uses his Picture Magic – Twilight Valhalla against Megicula's Curse Warding Magic – Unbound Slave.

Meanwhile, Gaja is advancing toward stopping Lolopechka, he even manages to find an opening. However, there is a bit of hesitation, and Lolopechka pierces right through Gaja.

Noelle loses her Spirit Dive spell and Megicula announces her victory.
