'Black Clover' Episode 169 Synopsis, Preview, Spoilers: Let's Rescue Yami And William

The Blacks Bulls hit rock bottom and with Captain Yami Sukehiro gone, they need to rise again. Asta renews his vow to defeat the Dark Triad and rescue their captains. "Black Clover" Episode 169 is titled "The Devil Binding Ritual."

Twitter user BCspoilers shared the synopsis for the upcoming episode, teasing Noelle Silva and the others are in trouble in the Heart Kingdom following an explosion due to Vanica Zogratis' magic.

Later, Noelle and her friend find themselves in a new location and they meet unexpected folks.

Elsewhere, Asta is excited to train with Nacht. However, Nacht's method of training is dangerous and requires the use of forbidden magic.

Asta needs to take the risk in order to surpass his limits and reach the level of the Dark Triad.

"At the battle in the Heart Kingdom, Noelle Silva and her teammates are caught in an explosion caused by Vanica's magic. Noelle and the rest wake up at the place where the elf tribe was struck by the Heart Kingdom. They meet unexpected people there. On the other side, Asta decides to learn how to use devil magic from Nacht, but the method is dangerous and involves the usage of forbidden magic. In the preview trailer for "Black Clover" Episode 169, Asta is shocked that Nacht, the vice-captain of the Black Bulls, can use the devil's power. He wonders what kind of training is in store for him under Nacht that will make him the best.

The previous episode showcases Nacht appearing before Asta. Nacht tells Asta that he likes him and he also assures the latter about Yami's wellbeing in the Spade Kingdom.

He later introduces himself to Asta as the vice-captain of the Black Bulls. Nacht offers to show Asta how to utilize the power of the devil. Asta looks confused as Nacht's devil, Gimodelo, appears.
