BlackBerry Priv is now available with a price cut of $200 on Daily Steals. It is a limited period offer that will expire in four days.

BlackBerry Priv is the first Android smartphone from the Canadian company that's loaded with high-end specs. The BlackBerry Priv launched in October 2015 with a price tag of $699. Later on, the company slashed its price to $649. And now Daily Steals is offering the unlocked BlackBerry Priv smartphone with a reduced price tag of $449.

The BlackBerry Priv that is available on sale with Daily Steals is an AT&T-branded variant. However, since it is a GSM smartphone, it will also support T-Mobile network. The smartphone will not support CDMA carriers like Verizon. Sprint has already announced it will not carry the Priv.

In an interview to The National, John Chen, the CEO of BlackBerry, has acknowledged that the launch price of $700 was high. The official price cut of $50 has reportedly not helped in driving the sales of BlackBerry Priv.

Chen also stated that the company will be releasing two low-budget smartphones running on Android. One of the upcoming BlackBerry Android smartphones will be featuring a physical QWERTY keyboard whereas the other would be coming with a full touchscreen. Unlike Priv, these smartphones will not feature high-end specs, but they are expected to be priced around $300 to $400.

BlackBerry Priv features a curved AMOLED display of 5.4-inch that carries support for Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. The native storage available on the device is 32 GB. Its external storage supports up to 2 TB of microSD.

The rear camera of the phone is of 18-megapixel and it offers features like OIS and dual-LED flash. Its front-facing camera is of 2 megapixels. It features a huge battery of 3,410 mAh capacity.
