The second box revealed the head of the creepy doll from the popular series.

Twitter user @blackpinkfuls tweeted a photo of Jennie's Instagram story showing the gifts.

"Netflix Series, Squid Game, sent this to Jennie! @blackpink," the Twitter user wrote.

Meanwhile, Koreaboo also featured the 25-year-old “Boombayah” singer's reaction to the gift she received from the streaming site. Upon unveiling the head of the creepy doll, she captioned her post, “No…stop…don’t turn around @hoooooyeon."

The creepy doll in pigtails and orange dress appears in the show as the figure who signals the players to stop or move in relation to the games.

Jennie, who is friends with actress Jung Ho-Yeon, the actress playing Saebyeok or Player No. 067 in the popular thriller series, received the gift after her recent visit to the show's set. Prior to this, Jennie sent a coffee truck to the set to congratulate her beloved friend for starring in the series, as per Soompi.

On Monday, Jung took to her Instagram page and posted a snap with the famous Blackpink member as they lounge on one of the most notable fixtures on the set.

In the photo, Jennie and Jung flash the iconic peace sign and smile widely for the camera. Jung captioned the post with two hearts and the dancing fairy emoji.

To date, “Squid Game” is the first K-Drama to become Netflix's top show in the U.S. as per Variety in an exclusive report.

The nine-episode Netflix original tells the story of a group of people who sign up for seemingly simple but lethal games for a hefty cash prize. The games are organized by mysterious hosts in masks and red overalls who lure the contestants for a $40 million prize.

The show was at No. 8 among the top 10 most popular Netflix shows in the U.S. on Sept. 19 after its release. "Squid Game" climbed to No. 2 on Sept. 20 and was at No. 1 by Sept. 21, Variety added.

In South Korea, “Squid Game” debuted at No. 2 and reached No. 1 a day later.

The show’s writer-director Hwang Dong-hyuk also helmed the 2011 film “Silenced” and adapted and directed the historical action film “The Fortress” in 2017. He was also the screenwriter of the musical comedy film “Miss Granny,” which is one of the most successful Korean films of all time that has seen remakes in China, Japan and the Philippines.
