RJ (Anthony Turpel) and Coco (Cortney Grosbeck) come clean to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about what caused their accident on the July 10, 2017 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” CBS

He suffered only a minor concussion and there was no significant concerns about either him or Coco following their car accident. However, now that RJ is feeling better, Brooke will press him for details about what happened on the Monday, July 10 episode of “the Bold and the Beautiful,” and when she learns the truth, she’ll be livid.

As they left Forrester to go attend a Fourth of July barbeque with her family and later have dinner with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont), RJ (Anthony Turpel) and Coco (Cortney Grosbeck) took one of Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) classic cars from the parking lot. As they cruised on the CBS soap, RJ made the decision to let his girlfriend drive, and while she did, she posted photos online and texted while behind the wheel. That decision led to them crashing, and RJ was brought to the hospital with a concussion.

He wound up being okay and suffered no serious damage, but in an effort to protect Coco from getting into trouble, he lied to his parents about how the accident happened. However, they already knew Coco had been driving, and after giving her son some more time to rest, Brooke will go to him once again to get some more information about how Coco wound up crashing the car.

In an attempt to keep things from getting worse, the teens may finally come clean about their using their phones while they were behind the wheel. Now that she knows the truth, Brooke will be livid that they acted so irresponsibly, though she will quickly regain her composure while lecturing them, reminding them that while nothing too serious happened this time, they wouldn’t be lucky again they repeated their mistake.

“Next time you’re driving, which isn’t going to be for a very long time, you’re not going to be on your phone,” she says in a preview clip. “Either one of you.”

Both Coco and RJ will promise not to let the situation repeat itself, and will likely have learned their lessons after this scare.

Meanwhile, Coco’s sister, Sally (Courtney Hope), will once again be discussing her relationship with RJ”s brother, Thomas (Pierson Fode), and the two will be taking their flirty conversation to a serious place as they discuss their future together. Though Thomas is confident they will make it through anything—and that he and Sally could even have a future together as parents—Sally will be less optimistic, admitting to the man she’s fallen in love with that she will at some point self-sabotage their romance.

“I have a pattern,” she says in the clip. “Good things always come to an end for me, and you’re the best thing that’s happened to me in…since, forever.”

What Sally doesn’t know is that this time around, she may not be the one to sabotage her relationship however, as a very big skeleton from Thomas’ closet is headed back to town and will potentially find a way to once again interfere in his relationship.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
