Bones
The midseason finale of "Bones" Season 10 will send Booth (David Boreanaz, left) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel, right) back to 1950's Hollywood. FOX

It’s been a busy season for FOX’s “Bones.” There’s been a major character death – Sweets (John Francis Daley) – a new baby, and plenty of crazy cases. However, it all comes to an end – at least for this year – in the special 200th episode, midseason 10 finale next week. Fans will not want to miss the Alfred Hitchcock-inspired, alternate-reality episode, “The 200th in the 10th.”

According to the synopsis, the next “Bones” will be a big tribute to legendary director and “Master of Suspense” Alfred Hitchcock. The alternate-reality episode will feature the cast, including Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel), reimagined in 1950’s Hollywood.

In the wild episode, Booth will not be an F.B.I. agent, but a jewel thief falsely accused of murdering a rich socialite – that rich socialite appears to be Aubrey (John Boyd) if the promo for the episode is any indication. Meanwhile, the 1950’s version of the always-progressive Brennan will be a LAPD officer battling sexism on the force. The new (or is it old?) Booth and Brennan will team up to try and clear Booth’s name and solve the case.

The promo shows that the episode will have all the vibrant colors, glamorous costumes, and biting one-liners just like the classic Hitchcock thrillers. It looks to be one of the most fun episodes of the entire series.

Watch the promo for episode 10 of “Bones” Season 10 below:

Will the 1950’s versions of Booth and Brennan be able to solve the case? And will the old Hollywood versions of themselves fall in love as well? Fans will have to tune in to find out. “Bones” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
