After defeating Deepa and Victor, Team 7 and Konohamaru prepare for the next mission. The threat of the organization named Kara is far from over. Titled "Blockade The A-UN Gate," "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 176 revolves around protecting the village.

The official preview trailer for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 176 teases that the Kara organization is extremely powerful and well-connected.

Konohamaru and Mugino present their report to Naruto and the others. In the report, they reveal that Kara has several collaborators outside the organization.

There is a possibility that there are scores of them scattered inside all Five Nations and The Leaf is no exception. In order to protect the village, they need to implement some sort of curfew, restrict unnecessary movements and blockade the village.

Naruto reveals that he needs to think about it as it is going to have a big impact on people's lives. It remains to be seen if Naruto would agree to implement the blockade.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Boruto and Sarada fought against Deepa while Konohamaru dealt with Victor.

Deepa used his cube jutsu to attack Boruto and Sarada. In the first phase of the battle, both Team 7 members remained largely ineffective against the mighty Deepa. However, as the episode progressed, they got unexpected help from Mitsuki.

With Team 7 united, the trio charged at Deepa with everything they had. Boruto finally got a chance to use his High Compression Rasengan in a real battle. The Rasengan uncovered Deepa’s true form and toward the end of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 175, Boruto was able to unlock a new kind of Rasengan—Super High Compression Rasengan—and managed to defeat Deepa.

As for Orochimaru, he arrived to help Konohamaru to defeat Victor. Later, Victor became the victim of his own creation.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Noriaki Sugiyama as Sasuke Uchiha, Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha, Ryuuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki, Akira Ishida as Gaara, Chiharu Sawashiro as Hiruga, Hidenori Takahashi as Konohamaru Sarutobi, Shoutarou Morikubo as Shikamaru Nara, Kunihiro Kawamoto as Omoi, Nana Mizuki as Hinata Hyuuga and Tetsuya Kakihara as Deepa.
