Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have called off their divorce, but the two apparently have no plans to reignite their romance.

On Wednesday, a source told Us Weekly that the exes have decided to hold their divorce. “The divorce is off,” the source said. “They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to.”

Many are hoping that this would mean Pitt and Jolie are planning to reconcile as a couple. However, another source told Entertainment Tonight that the Hollywood stars decided not to finalize their divorce only for the sake of their kids and that nothing has changed in their relationship. “There’s a pause in the [divorce] process because they both made children the priority, but nothing significant has changed in their relationship,” the insider told the publication.

As for the reconciliation that many were looking forward to, the source claimed that neither Pitt nor Jolie want to focus on this. “There isn’t one in the works,” the insider said of a possible reunion. “These things always take a long time, and right now their main focus is on their family and the kids.”

Meanwhile, Jolie recently opened up about their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox — in her interview with Vanity Fair. This came as a surprise to fans as Jolie and Pitt have been very protective when it comes to their children’s privacy and always refused to talk about their kids in interviews or put the spotlight on them. In fact, during Pitt’s tell-all interview with GQ in May, the actor opened up about his personal struggles, but never mentioned their offspring.

“It’s surprising that Angelina would use the children to help herself in the story, especially after years where both were dedicated to protecting their privacy,” one source told Entertainment Tonight.

In related news, a source has claimed that Pitt was reportedly hurt by Jolie’s revelations in her interview with Vanity Fair because she was making him the villain in their divorce. In the interview, the “Maleficent” star had claimed that the kids were “not healing from divorce. They’re healing from some . . . from life, from things in life.” Pitt reportedly felt that his estranged wife had been implying that he had caused their children pain.

“Saying that the kids are trying to heal from him. He was really wounded by the way she phrased that,” one insider said. “He’s rising above it... Although Angie took some strong shots at him in the interview, he knows he’s finally in a good place with the kids and that one day, he’ll have the custody arrangement that he wants.”
