The entire year has been a rollercoaster ride for the “Ad Astra” actor. Not only did he face and underwent a lot of controversies amid the divorce proceedings, he was also the subject of a lot of dating rumors. Nevertheless, the actor has a reason to be merry and celebrate Christmas.

Pitt, 50, is reportedly expected to celebrate Christmas Eve with his kids. A source exclusively told US Weekly that Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11, and Vivienne, 11, will be coming over to his house. It is note-worthy that this Christmas will be the first time that he’ll be spending with his kids without a monitor.

This wasn’t the case last year. Although Pitt had the chance to celebrate Christmas with Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne it was supervised. While the other three are expected to pay their dad a visit, Zahara, 14, is not expected by Pitt, a source revealed to the said news outlet.

Pitt also shares two other children with Jolie —Maddox, 18, and Pax, 16— whom, according to reports, are still not in good terms with their father. As a result, Maddox, who’s currently studying in South Korea and his brother are not expected to spend the holidays with Pitt.

There were previous reports that Jolie tried to bridge the gap between Pitt and their oldest son but the latter was reportedly not receptive. Meanwhile, the “Ad Astra” actor was hopeful that amid the rift between him and Maddox, he would be given the chance to reconcile with his second son, Pax.

It is no secret that Department of Children and Family Services would supervise his kids’ visit before but that protocol came to an end when Pitt and his ex-wife, Jolie, reached a custody agreement in December 2018. There may be exception to overnight visits but Pitt is reportedly hoping that this time his children would want to spend the night.

Pitt and Jolie had been together for a decade before the “Maleficient: Mistress of Evil” actress filed for a divorce in 2016. A legal single status was reportedly granted by a judge while they finalize the divorce. Report from Daily Mail stated that the former couple settled on a custody agreement for their children. As of the moment, Pitt and Jolie are reportedly sorting out their properties and finances.
