KEY POINTS

  • "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 2 is set to launch on Feb. 25
  • The incoming season features a lot of new content, including a new pistol
  • While the pistol is not yet released in "Warzone," players can now access it

"Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 2 is still a few days away but players can get a taste of some of its content now. The fully automatic "Modern Warfare" gun Sykov Pistol is still not available in the battle royale title. However, there is a way for players to unlock this new weapon ahead of its official launch in the game.

How To Unlock Sykov Pistol In "Call Of Duty: Warzone"

Content creator JGOD shared through his YouTube channel the process "Call of Duty: Warzone" players could follow to access the unreleased pistol. First, players need to complete the challenge for the pistol by completing five matches with four kills using a pistol. After completing the challenges, players should log into " Warzone " and look for the green square in the upper right corner of the screen.

If the flashing green light is not available, players can begin a private Survival match and head to the weapon buy station. In the bottom part of the pistol category, players will find the flashing green square. When the blinking box is active, players can unlock the Sykov pistol.

Several players who were able to access the Sykov pistol in "Warzone" claim that it is an incredible weapon. It appears in the game's Plunder mode but its current build seems that it is broken in terms of balance. For those who want to use this weapon in "Warzone" and want to optimize it, they can equip it with several attachments. This includes the 80-round magazine, full barrel and Akimbo configuration.

Season 2 Content

The Sykov pistol is not the only new weapon players can enjoy in "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 2. Players earlier discovered the presence of the CX-9 submachine gun in the Survival mode of "Modern Warfare" but unavailable in its multiplayer. A new operator is also expected to launch in the incoming season alongside a new map and probably a hoard of Zombies.

"Call of Duty: Warzone" is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Earlier, Activision announced that the game's second season is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 25.
