Camilla Parker Bowles’s Liver Bird photo didn’t please netizens.

On Tuesday, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited Liverpool. Prince Charles and Camilla arrived in coordinated royal blue outfits. The duchess looked elegant in her blue wool coat with embroidered cuff when she and Prince Charles met Ireland’s President Michael D. Higgins to celebrate the culture, history and people of the city.

During their visit, Camilla posed in front of Paul Curtis’ Liver Bird mural in the city’s Baltic Triangle. The artwork pays homage to the bird symbol of the city and makes it appear as though the photo subject has wings and a halo.

A photo of Camilla was shared by BBC North West on Twitter. “Camilla becomes a Liver Bird...the Duchess of Cornwall posing in front of the Baltic Triangle mural during her visit with Prince Charles to Liverpool today,” the caption read.

“Cheap and nasty artwork now made EVEN MORE HORRIBLE!” Nicola Roscoe-Calvert commented.

Another user named Chris disagreed that Camilla looked like a Liver bird by commenting “she doesn’t.” A different user wrote that for him, it’s “more a vulture.”

“No disrespect to Camilla but how iconic would that image be if it were Diana?” Mark Carrick wrote.

However, Le Chob de Brighouse didn’t agree with Mark and commented that if it would have been Princess Diana following her death 20 years ago, then it would be “more horrific than iconic.”

In related news, Camilla was reportedly trapped by antiquated values. The duchess and Prince Charles dated before they married their first spouses. The royal family didn’t approve of Camilla for Prince Charles because the future king was discouraged to marry a woman who had been in previous relationships.

Royal expert Robert Lacy said that he felt sorry for Camilla for being caught by antiquated values. Unlike Camilla, Princess Diana was seen as the perfect virginal bride and the royal family encouraged her and Prince Charles’ union.

Princess Diana and Camilla were good friends before they became rivals. In fact, they were photographed at the Ludlow races together a year before the Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot. Their friendship ended when Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom discovered that Camilla and Prince Charles were having an affair.
