Carole Middleton recently rewarded Prince George with a bag of sweets.

Grandparents are known to spoil their grandchildren and Kate Middleton's mom does the same to Prince George. According to Rebecca English, a royal correspondent for Daily Mail, Carole loves giving rewards to her grandson when he is well-behaved.

One visitor reportedly spotted Prince George sitting in front of their house exclaiming, "Oh my gosh!" His indulgent granny, Carole, reportedly gave him a bag of sweets for being a good boy.

The Duchess of Cambridge understands her parents' prerogative to spoil her kids. In fact, she just laughed when she called home from a foreign tour to speak to her mother only to hear from her son that his granny had given him "chips again" for dinner.

Carole has been very helpful to Middleton when it comes to rearing her children. In fact, she's been visiting the Duchess of Cambridge following Prince Louis' birth.

"Carole has been invaluable to the Duchess. Kate stayed with her parents in Bucklebury last weekend and, when she returned to London, Carole came too," a source told The Sun.

Carole's influence on Middleton's parenting style is undeniable. In fact, royal expert Ingrid Seward likened Middleton to Carole for being dutiful and strong.

"She has blossomed and looked more confident, beaming with happiness," Seward said about Middleton after seeing her photos during Prince Louis' christening. "Kate is hugely dutiful, but she is quite strong and leading the way behind the scenes. She is like her mum Carole Middleton in that sense."

In related news, according to Tom Bower in his book "Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles," there was a time when the Prince of Wales wasn't pleased with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spending more time with her family in Berkshire. As a result, the royal aids were ordered to "ignore" Carole.

Prince William was reportedly enraged after learning that her mother in law was treated badly in the palace. So, the duke sought the Queen's advice.

"This so infuriated William that he consulted with his grandmother. To counter the hurtful snubs against Carole Middleton, the Queen then made a point of inviting a TV cameraman to film her driving the former air hostess around the Balmoral estate," Bower wrote.
