‘The Challenge: Battle Of The Exes 2’ Spoilers: Who Was Eliminated In Episode 2? [Recap]

Episode 2 of MTV’s “The Challenge: Battle of the Exes 2” kicked off right where the premiere left off. Following Jessica and Dustin’s loss in Season 26’s first dome showdown, they were sent to exile while fellow competitors Adam and Brittany returned to the house.

While feuds abound in the house over allegations regarding contestant Nany’s love life, “Challenge” newcomer and “Real World: Ex-Plosion” star Jenna started a romance with series veteran Zach. After a few days of flirtatious behavior, the duo shared their first kiss in front of their housemates.

“Zach and Jenna. Ken and Barbie. They couldn’t be prettier and they couldn’t be dumber and I love the two of them together,” contestant Sara said of the lovebirds.

Challenge

This week’s challenge had the teams getting uncomfortably close in the competition called Rounding the Bases. The competitors they had to score a “home run” with their ex in a baseball field-shaped arena. At each base, there was different task for the teams to complete, each requiring the use of a different body part. The most memorable part of the challenge was a round of the party game suck and blow, made famous by the 1995 film “Clueless.”

For the first time this season, Johnny “Bananas” and Nany managed to secure a win, taking home the title of power couple. After failing at the first challenge base, Averey and Johnny Reilly earned a first-class ticket to the second dome.

Elimination

Following Johnny’s heated debut with Wes in episode 1 and Nany’s personal issues with Wes' partner, Theresa, the duo contemplated sending the team to the dome. Despite their differences, Nany and Johnny voted with their heads instead of their guts and put in “Challenge” newcomers Thomas and Hailey.

Despite being unable to communicate during the challenge, Johnny Reilly and Averey pulled through in the dome, beating out Hailey and Thomas.

While all of the cast attended the elimination challenge, Diem Brown did not. Ahead of the event, she complained of a stomachache to her teammate, CT.

Exiled

This season’s twist, Battle of the Ex-iled, allows the cast members defeated in the dome to try their hand again at a win. Following the episode, teammates Dustin and Jessica went head-to-head against Tom and Hailey on MTV.com. (Watch the segment here.) Host T.J. Lavin informed the two teams that whoever gained a liter of pure sweat in a designated amount of time would be declared the winning team and potentially win a spot in the Season 26 finals. Dustin and Jessica ultimately walked away with the win and moved into the exile house.
