Charlize Theron disclosed that her kids are not sure what she does for a living despite being an Academy Award-winning actress in Hollywood.

The 47-year-old actress opened up about her two adopted daughters - Jackson, 12, and August, 9 - explaining how they think she can't hold a job.

"In their heads, they're like, 'We know you work, but we're not 100 percent sure what you do.' My younger one goes, 'Oh my God, Mom, it feels like you can't hold a job,'" Theron told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Wednesday.

Whereas, Theron's elder one got embarrassed looking at her mother's photo on a billboard for a luxury brand.

The actress shared that once she was walking through an airport with her pre-teen daughter and looking at the billboard Jackson said, "Oh my God, you're on a f--king wall with no shirt, Mom. This is so embarrassing. Put a shirt on!"

"And I'm like, 'That will pay for your college!'" Theron added. "But deep down, like every mother, I just want to f--king impress them."

The "Mad Max: Fury Road" star further shared how she prefers not to waste all her time thinking she is a movie star or be an enigma when she meets someone.

"I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone I've had business with would say, 'Oh, I don't know her.' I make it so abundantly clear when I meet somebody, even if it's a pitch at a streamer for a f**king TV show, that I don't need to be an enigma," she explained. "And I think that's part of the broadness, the let me swear and be self-deprecating -- it's because I don't want to waste all this time with you thinking I'm this movie star."

Theron went on to add that she likes to "break down all the walls" to talk straight about business. "I just want to get to a f--king place with people as fast as possible where they can be like, 'I don't think you're right on this,' or, 'You're making a huge mistake,'" the actress said.

Theron will be the next feature in the movies like "The Old Guard 2" and "Fast X."
