It was obvious to Chase Chappell that he had a bright future in digital advertising when his first client left him because Chase helped him retire after booking out his luxury pool business with clients. The high school dropout wasn't a victim of his success for too long, though – he turned the story of the client he got into a successful case study that he could leverage to attract more clients. One thing led to another, his success snowballed, and Chase has now worked with some of the biggest clients in the world, brands such as 7-Eleven and Power Crunch.

Chase Chappell is what people would describe as a serial entrepreneur. He was exposed to the idea of entrepreneurship when he was still a kid, visiting his sister and her husband, who ran multiple businesses. "I saw the country lifestyle, living with my parents in the more rural parts of Texas and going to school there," he explains. "But during the summers, I would see my sister and her husband's more affluent, business-minded lifestyle. It was pretty clear to me which way I wanted to go."

It became clear to everyone else in his life when Chase started running businesses out of high school, eventually dropping out before getting his GED or diploma. "Years later, the high school called me to tell me they'll just issue me the diploma if I wanted it," Chase recalls. "I appreciate the offer, thank you, but I'll pass on it." He wasn't averse to learning from others, but he also developed some courses, teaching thousands of people how to manage Facebook and TikTok ads.

His most recent venture is Sirge.io, a software that lets people track their Facebook ads and correctly attribute purchases to their ad campaigns. Chase started the company with a small team of skilled developers and marketers as an answer to the crisis caused by the iOS 14.5 update. In a brief period, most Apple users who installed the update decided not to opt into ad tracking. Consequently, Facebook couldn't track nearly as many of the purchases its ads were involved in.

The data agencies, marketers and business owners saw on their dashboards was no longer accurate for those who ran ads. The worst-case scenario saw people scrap whole campaigns believing they were critically underperforming. The best-case scenario saw people stick with their ads, stumbling in the dark and trying not to make a big mistake.

"Sirge.io was built to fill in the gap, letting us better attribute the results through our tracking script," he explains. "It's a custom dashboard, people sign up, and they're able to compare their Shopify ad campaign results against their Facebook & TikTok results, giving them a more accurate picture of their true ROAS/ROI."

Chase Chappell's work on Sirge.io isn't done, however. The platform rocketed to success too quickly, exposing some scalability problems the team had to scramble to resolve, all hands on deck. Expansions are underway to bring more integrations, training, and tools to the product. Chase Chappell has a wide range of skills in the field of marketing, and he's not averse to lending them out to help others. It's helped him steadily grow his businesses, too. "Everybody thought I was pretty crazy when I left high school," he concludes. "But it ended up working out pretty well."
