After returning earlier this week with its Season 4 premiere, “Chesapeake Shores” is back with its second episode of the season, titled “Leap of Faith,” on Sunday.

Directed by Terry Ingram and written by Kirsten Hansen, episode 2 sees Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) trying to win Abby (Meghan Ory) back but finding it difficult to do so when his friend begs him to get back to his music career.

“Abby puts her work life in jeopardy investigating a client’s dubious business practices, and Connor (Andrew Francis) also faces professional consequences after making an impulsive decision,” the synopsis reveals of what else is to come in the episode. “When dangerous practices catch up to a former business partner, Mick (Treat Williams) anticipates legal troubles of his own.”

The “Chesapeake Shores” synopsis continues: “Jess (Lacy J. Mailey) and David (Carlo Marks) try to go back to where it all started. Bree (Emilie Ullerup) worries that her chemistry with Simon (Oliver Rice) does not live up to that of her autobiographical play’s characters. Kevin (Brendan Penny) saves a former coach’s life and is reminded of the impact he’d had on the community. Meanwhile, Megan (Barbara Niven) jumps at a new opportunity to help Kevin and Sarah (Jessica Sipos).”

The Hallmark show’s cast also features Diane Ladd (Nell O’Brien), Lanie McAuley (Emma Rogers), Gregory Harrison (Thomas O’Brien), Serge Houde (Del Granger), Giles Panton (Chris Smith), Kent Sheridan (Donovan Wiley) and Oliver Rice (Simon Atwater).

Including this episode, there are only five left remaining in Season 4. Catch them on Sundays on Hallmark Channel when “Chesapeake Shores” airs at 8 p.m. EDT.
