“Chicago Med” is back this week with a new Season 2 episode. Last week, a hacker shut down the hospital’s computer system and forced doctors to diagnose and treat patients without technology. To say it was a challenge for the staff to operate without the computer system would be an understatement.

Elsewhere, Dr. Connor Rhodes’ (Colin Donnell) lover Robin (Mekia Cox) was behaving strangely in episode 19. She was hearing rats scurrying about inside the walls of Connor’s apartment. What is wrong with Dr. Daniel Charles’ (Oliver Platt) daughter?

In the upcoming episode of the NBC drama, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and his brother Jay (Jesse Lee Soffer) will be on the spotlight after their father (Louis Herthum) is admitted to the hospital due to a heart problem. The official synopsis of Season 2, episode 20 reveals that things will get personal for Will after his unsupportive father is wheeled into the clinic.

Worse still, Will’s father doesn’t want to be in the hospital. He is admitted against his wishes.

Rhodes, the cardiothoracic specialist in Gaffney Medical Center, treats Halstead’s father. During the course of his treatment, Will reflects on his relationship with his dad.

Meanwhile, Charles gets involved when his daughter’s strange behavior continues to intensify.

Elsewhere, Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) struggles to help a teenage boy who is desperate to control his sexual urges.

“Chicago Med” Season 2, episode 20 will also show Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey Devitto) getting emotional about a case that involves a young boy. He is admitted to the hospital for neglect. She is a working mother than often worries about neglecting her child.

Children will also be on Dr. Sarah Reese’s (Rachel DiPillo) mind. She tries to teach high school students about the responsibilities of having a child using fake baby dolls.

“Chicago Med” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
