It may be the end of 2016 but it looks like Chris Brown is just getting started. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the singer took to Twitter to tease fans about new music.

Brown tweeted the announcement attached to a photo with the title “Party” along with his name and the two artists he collaborated with on the track, Usher and Gucci Mane. In the post, the singer states that “Party” will be released Friday. Although most fans responded positively to his tweet, some fans demanded even more music from the singer. “@chrisbrown bro drop a rap mixtape,” one fan tweeted.

“Ahhhh you’re the best! So excited!! Can’t wait!” another fan wrote.

Neither Usher nor Gucci Mane has mentioned the upcoming song on their social media accounts. However, Usher did retweet Brown’s post about his upcoming documentary, “Welcome to My Life.” “Team Breezy I know y’all waiting! Coming sooner than you think! MOVIE ALERT!!!” the singer wrote.

The post also featured a short clip of the documentary in which Brown admits that although he faced dark times in which he contemplated suicide, didn't eat and spent a majority of his time getting high, his career is far from over.

The site for the documentary states that the piece gives the singer the opportunity to tell his own story about his life which has made both national and international headlines. The documentary also features interviews from Rita Ora, Usher, DJ Khaled, Jamie Foxx and more famous friends of the star.

A release date has yet to be announced however, fans can sign up for updates on the official website of the documentary.
