  • Chris Rock performed another stand-up set in Boston Thursday after addressing the Oscars for the first time the night before
  • Rock shut down an audience member who yelled, "F--- Will Smith," at his Thursday show
  • The comedian earlier said he is "still processing" the incident and suggested he hasn't spoken with Smith directly

Chris Rock is taking the high road after Will Smith slapped him on stage at the 94th Academy Awards Sunday.

The comedian broke his silence about the Oscars incident Wednesday when he stepped on stage at The Wilbur in Boston, Massachusetts, for two standup shows to kick off his "Ego Death" world tour. He said he was "still processing" getting smacked by Smith over the comedian's joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head.

On Thursday, Rock returned to The Wilbur for another stand-up comedy show, where he began his set by once again addressing the Oscars.

The "Spiral" star did not engage with "Will Smith" chants the night before. However, during Thursday's show, he responded when an audience member yelled out, "F--- Will Smith!"

Rock quickly shut it down, telling the audience, "No, no, no, no, no...," People reported.

Rock said during his shows Wednesday that although he didn’t have a lot to say about the slap now, he’ll likely address the situation more in the future.

"I'm still processing it. I will talk about it, and it will be serious, and it will be funny, but not tonight," he told the sold-out crowd, according to Entertainment Tonight.

During his late-night set, Rock also appeared to deny claims that he and Smith have reconciled. "I haven't talked to anyone, despite what you heard," the comedian was quoted by People as saying.

He did not mention Smith by name at his Wednesday shows, but he seemed to imply that he hasn't yet spoken with the "King Richard" star directly despite reports that Sean "Diddy" Combs said the pair settled their feud after the awards show.

The music mogul later clarified his statement saying that he talked to Smith and Rock separately but never confirmed a reconciliation.

"I never confirmed they had reconciled. I said, 'As brothers, they will work it out, and let's move on with love,'" Diddy said in a statement to TMZ.

On Monday, Smith publicly apologized to Rock in a statement shared on Instagram, saying, "I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness."

Tony Rock, however, made it clear on Twitter that he did not approve of Smith's public apology to his brother. Tony also claimed that their family is still waiting to hear directly from Smith.

Rock has declined to file a police report over the incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"He isn't even thinking of suing, he's focused on his tour," an anonymous friend of Rock's told Page Six.

Rock still has one show in Boston on Friday. He is then reportedly scheduled to make appearances in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and California.
