Todd Chrisley revealed that he has contracted coronavirus and he’s getting better. The reality TV star shared his struggle with COVID-19 on his podcast, “Chrisley Confessions.”

The reality TV star said he had been battling the virus for three weeks and has been receiving treatment in a hospital, CNN reported. He did express his hope that he would get better eventually, saying, "Hopefully, I will get better every day, but as of right now, folks, I still am not clicking on all cylinders. I am probably about 70 to 75% of what I normally I am."

Chrisley’s daughter, Savannah, shared on Instagram how she felt about her father’s hospitalization, as well as the moment they learned he was positive for the dreaded virus.

Savannah wrote “I have never been so scared in my life.” She confessed that she started getting worried immediately after her father got sick. She added that she and her father were "the biggest worriers of the bunch" and that she and her mother convinced Chrisley to go into urgent care. He went to the hospital showing signs of coronavirus and was immediately checked for it.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” star and wife Julie had shared their COVID-19 experience in their recent podcast. Chrisley did show signs that he was getting better by being able to go to the podcast. He also referenced his condition by saying “Can we talk about this b*tch called corona?”

Days prior to they learned Chrisley was infected by the deadly virus, he's been battling high fevers at 100 to 103 degrees. His daughter shared how he was able to go home and do self-quarantine. A week later, however, his test results came back positive, and that finally woke him up and decided that he should go to the hospital to be treated.

Savannah explained to her fans, and those who are watching the podcast, the point why their family decided to share her father’s condition. She — along with Todd and Julie — encouraged everyone to stay at home as encouraged and to practice proper social distancing. She ended the message with a positive note, telling everyone to “love harder than ever, (because) life is so short”.
