Rapper DaBaby took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to seek an apology from the LGBT community and people suffering from AIDS/HIV after making some "insensitive" comments at the Rolling Loud festival over the weekend.

"Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y'all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody," the 29-year-old rapper tweeted. "So my apologies."

"But the LGBT community... I ain't trippin on y'all, do you. y'all business is y'all business," he added.

The apology came after Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, professionally known as DaBaby, said during his performance, "If you didn't show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that'll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up… Fellas, if you ain't s--king d--k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up."

A Twitter shared the video clip and captioned, "DaBaby this is weird to say?? Wth."

DaBaby, who collaborated with Dua Lipa on the "Levitating" remix last year, received backlash after Lipa addressed DaBaby's remarks on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. "I'm surprised and horrified at DaBaby's comments," Lipa wrote. "I really don't recognize this as the person I worked with."

"I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGTBQ community," she added. "We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS."

Rapper T.I. supported DaBaby following his comments by comparing him with singer Lil Nas X. The 40-year-old rapper wrote, "If Lil Nas X can kick his s--t in peace... so should dababy #equality."

T.I. shared a video Tuesday on his Instagram explaining his comment. "Social media's full of confusion. Words are often misconstrued. And to be honest with you, if homosexuals have more rights than heterosexual people just say that. Let's let that be the law, is that the law?" he said.

"I just feel like, I respect gays, especially the ones who have the courage and bravery to step out and live in their truth, I respect that. … But, I respect it the same way if you're a heterosexual person, I respect it the same way," he explained. "So I ain't even seen all the hoopla about, some of you m----------rs just be up in arms fake caring just cause you ain't got s--t going on in your life over here."

The "Urban Legend" rapper added that he isn't going to hate someone "just because they do something different in the bedroom."

Nas X has not yet responded to T.I and Dababy's comments.
