Abby Lee Miller is looking for a new "Dance Moms" elite competition team. Lifetime

When “Dance Moms” aired its Season 7 finale last fall, the show seemed to be saying its final goodbye. However, with Abby Lee Dance Company coach Abby Lee Miller now out of prison, it appears the Lifetime series is making a comeback.

Executive producer Bryan Stinson posted an announcement to Twitter on Wednesday revealing plans for the return of the dance competition docuseries that brought Miller and her students to fame. “Here we go again!” he wrote. “The story isn’t ending.”

The post included information about upcoming auditions for the show and stated the series is looking for “new” talent to compete as part of Miller’s elite competition team. It was first rumored back in October that the series would replace its original stars in the case of a comeback.

“Does your daughter/son outshine their competition? Are they destined for greatness? Would they love the opportunity to train and compete as a member of the ALDC? This could be the fast-track to stardom your kid deserves,” reads the ad.

Auditions for the series are taking place in two parts with dancers between the ages of 7 to 9 being auditioned separately from those aged 10 to 12. Final callbacks for the show are taking place Sept. 8-9. Those interested in signing up for auditions can register here.

While it doesn’t appear the show is looking to bring back its old talent, it appears at least two stars would consider coming back to the show. Following Stinson’s post, Miller’s on-screen nemesis, Cathy Nesbitt-Stein, seemed to hint on Twitter that she was surprised about the casting decision.

Meanwhile, in January, original cast member Chloe Lukasiak told International Business Times that she was “open to considering” a return to the show.
