The “Dance Moms” cast may have moved on following the exit of coach Abby Lee Miller but that doesn’t mean TV viewers have seen the last of the ALDC.

Following Abby’s leave from the Lifetime series, former “Dance Moms” star Sari Lopez has revealed the coach is hard at work on a spinoff show featuring her mini team. “We met with Abby last night. They’re pitching another show with the minis with another network,” Sari, who is mom to Season 7 dancer Areana Lopez, told RadarOnline.

After several of Abby’s elite students left her studio in favor of working with their former teammate Chloe Lukasiak last month, Sari said Abby is just looking to exclusively work with her younger dancers. “She’s always wanted her own show with the minis but production wouldn’t let it happen,” Sari said.

Sari’s comment comes after several Instagram posts from Abby teasing a new TV project. Last week, Abby posted a shot of a business meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA and revealed she was “eager to get started.” The post included the hashtags “#aldcminis” and “#thebestisyettocome.”

Several days later, she shared a post indicating she was possibly working with Warner Bros. “Mike Darnell reassures my faith in Reality TV!” she wrote of the President of Unscripted & Alternative Television at the network. “Oh what it must be like to live in that house! Fun fun fun!”

After a few weeks of failing to film for “Dance Moms” Season 7B, Abby returned to the show in March only for four of her longtime students to leave her studio. While dancers Kalani Hilliker, Nia Sioux, Camryn Bridges and Kendall Vertes moved to 8 Count Dance Academy in Los Angeles to compete alongside their former teammate Chloe, dancers Brynn Rumfallo, Maesi Caes, Lilliana Ketchman and Elliana Walmsley remained with Abby.

Abby has since quit the show after a falling out with the show’s producers. She has been replaced as lead choreograph by “Dancing With the Stars” professional alum Cheryl Burke.

It is unclear when “Dance Moms” will return to Lifetime.
