The “Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III” is releasing later this month. Ahead of its launch, players can get early access to the real-time strategy game through the multiplayer open beta test that is scheduled to happen starting on April 21.

Developer Relic Entertainment and publisher Sega have already opened the lines for signups, so players interested in joining the open beta should register as early as today to gain access to a range of maps, modes and other content of the video game. Open beta will only last for four days, so gamers are advised to join the test and enjoy it while it last until April 24. The signup page is found here. Players should take note that they need a Relic Account to sign up and get admitted to the online community forums and have access to free content and special offers.

During the open beta, “Dawn of War III” players will be granted access to all three factions in the game, namely: Space Marines, Orks and Eldar. Relic says the open bate test includes Doctrines, so players can experiment and work on a strategy of equipping their army for the different scenarios in the official release. The Army Painter is also made available so players can customize the look of their army before heading to the battles.

Players can compete against each other in three different maps, which could either be custom or auto-matched battles. In the final version of the game, they’ll get to choose from eight multiplayer maps. Relic has also added a special bonus for players, and it is access to the unlocked Masters of War Elite Skins. Thus, open beta testers can use the Dark Queen skin for Lady Solaria, the Big Kustom skin for beauty and the Ghost Seer skin for Farseer Taldeer.

The multiplayer game modes in the open beta are limited to 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 player versus player combats. In the full version, players can battle against AI. Also, Relic has confirmed that all progression in the open beta will be re-set upon the release of “Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III” on April 27.
