Days of Our Lives
Gabi (Camila Banus) is booked on murder charges on the Feb. 7, 2018 episode of "Days of Our Lives." NBC

The evidence previously suggested another was guilty of murdering Andre in his office, but after a new batch of clues arrives in the hands of the Salem PD, Gabi will find herself not only becoming the prime suspect, but hauled off to jail for the crime on the Wednesday, Feb. 7 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

After Anna (Leann Hunley) finally told the truth about what happened between her and Andre (Thaao Penghlis) the night of his murder, the case once again seemed to be at a dead end on the NBC soap. However, after the missing hour of footage from the offices was handed over by Stefan (Tyler Christopher), a big piece of the puzzle seemed to fall into place. Unfortunately for Gabi (Camila Banus), it was one which has heavily implicated her.

The footage showed a woman who looked like Gabi leaving Andre's office around the time he may have been murdered. Though there is no face visible, from the back, the two women shared similar characteristics. Rafe (Galen Gering) and Eli (Lamon Archey) brought her in to answer questions after seeing the video, and she insisted she was still innocent. However, after more investigation, they found that Gabi's keycard had been used to access the elevator outside of Andre's office shortly beforehand, and a closer look at the video showed the woman walking away with the top part of Tony's urn—which was believed to be the murder weapon.

Gabi insisted to the two she was innocent, and it's clear she has been set up. However, though her brother and her boyfriend both want to believe her, the evidence is too overwhelmingly against her. In addition, she's committed murder before, and it's all too much for them to let slide just because of their relationships with her. Now, she will be stunned as they read her her rights and book her for Andre's murder.

The news will be stunning for all who know Gabi, but it will be hard for her to prove she isn't guilty otherwise. In addition to the other evidence and her known history, she's also someone who had a significant amount of motive when it came to wanting Andre dead. Now, it will take a miracle if she's ever going to prove she didn't once again take someone's life.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
