She managed to survive the warehouse explosion in Tennessee and has since reunited with the man she loves in Salem, but Nicole’s return from the presumed dead could be quickly derailed when she learns some shocking news about her daughter on the Tuesday, April 30 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was stunned and overjoyed when he saw Nicole (Arianne Zucker) standing in Rex’s apartment and learned that while she had been presumed dead after the explosion in Nashville, she had actually been rescued and recovering in an ICU unit for months on the NBC soap. She has since returned so she can be with him again, this time for good, and reunite with her little girl, Holly. However, as happy as the pair is at the moment, that will all change in an instant, after they get wind of the bad news that baby Holly had been snatched from the DiMera Mansion—by Ted (Gilles Marini) and the also back from the dead Xander (Paul Telfer).

Since the only people who currently know Nicole is alive are Eric, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Rex (Kyle Lowder), no one will think to notify Nicole of her daughter’s disappearance while they investigate. But as news spreads, it could get to Sarah and Rex, and since Sarah was sure she was going to have a chance with Eric, she will likely be glad to put a halt to any reunion between the man she loves and the woman he has always wanted.

“Sarah interrupts Eric and Nicole’s reunion with terrible news,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, once Nicole and Eric learn of Holly’s kidnapping, they will race to DiMera Mansion for answers themselves, stunning everyone there with the reveal that Nicole is alive, especially Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). However, Nicole’s former best friend will be in for the shock of her life when she gets a frosty reception, likely because she was caring for Holly even though she knew she was in constant danger from the Cartel.

“Nicole lashes out at Chloe over Holly’s kidnapping,” spoilers tease.

Of course, the kidnapping doesn’t have anything to do with the Cartel, and is, in fact, something that Ted seems to have planned. However, while no one in Salem knows the truth, his reason for not only setting up the plot but also getting involved with Xander will be something he makes known as he goes on to the next part of his plan.

“Ted’s true intentions are made clear,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
