He knew his boyfriend was lying to him about what he’s really been doing, and after confronting the other man in his life, he now knows the entire story. While it’s reassuring for Paul that Will isn’t sleeping with Sonny behind his back, he will still confront him over keeping such huge secrets from him on the Wednesday, August 15 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Paul (Christopher Sean) has been suspicious for some time that Will (Chandler Massey) was doing something behind his back with Sonny (Freddie Smith) on the NBC soap. After finding the threatening note in Will’s bag that Ted (Gilles Marini) sent, he confronted Sonny about a presumed affair. The man who was once married to Will and once engaged to Paul quickly informed him that wasn’t the case, and told him about everything that really happened, and what he and Will were hiding.

Sonny confessed that Leo (Greg Rikaart) had tried to kill Will, and when he jumped to his defense, he flung the other man too hard, and he hit his head as he fell to the ground. The move killed him, and since he had been suing Sonny for false sexual harassment, they knew they couldn’t go to the cops without risking it would look like Sonny had intentionally murdered the other man. He and Will then proceeded to try and cover it up but were thwarted when Ted caught on and decided to blackmail them instead.

Now, with the truth handed to him, Paul will decide it's time to ask Will about the situation, to find out why he didn’t confide in him and let him worry, Will, feeling remorseful, will apologize for the man he’s fallen in love with, but will also defend the initial decision to keep him out of the situation.

While that may appease his boyfriend for now, there’s no telling how much those lies will affect the pair’s relationship, however. If Paul feels threatened once again by Will and Sonny potentially keeping another secret, he could officially decide he’s had enough entirely, throw in the towel, and leave Salem and the life he managed to build there behind.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
