The plot to take down Deimos continues! “Days of Our Lives” fans will want to catch every episode of the NBC soap opera this week as more drama plagues Salem.

Last week’s installment set up some pretty scandalous storylines. Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) appeared to be developing feelings for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). But the newly single Chief of Surgery had too many other things on her plate to take notice. Besides Steve (Stephen Nichols) taking their breakup badly, their son, Joey (James Lastovic), was plotting to run away with his new girlfriend, Jade (Paige Searcy). But it was some big reveals with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) that left viewers shocked.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) went to Deimos’ to hear more about his relationship with her doppelganger, Helena. It was there that Deimos revealed the real reason he despises Victor (John Aniston) — he killed Helena and blamed her death on him. Helena had been engaged to Victor, but was having a secret relationship with his half-brother. When Victor found out he accidentally killed her. He set Deimos up, resulting in his imprisonment.

Nicole was clearly moved by the story. But Deimos was still suspicious. He called her out for getting paid by Victor to seduce him, and Nicole confessed that her ex-husband had approached her. However, she claimed that she turned him down and wants nothing more than to help Deimos destroy Victor. But is she lying?

Elsewhere, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) discovered that Deimos is to blame for Bo’s (Peter Reckell) death. Fortunately, “Days of Our Lives” fans don’t need to worry about one of them doing something stupid to jeopardize their case. The two appear to be much more interested in their budding relationship.

So, where does that leave viewers for this week?

The Monday, April 25 episode will find Theo (Kyle Pettis) promising Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) a “magical night at the prom.” But their happiness might be short lived. Abe (James Reynolds) has concerns about his son’s relationship with Ciara, and will confront Hope about it. That’s another hiccup for the detective, but she’ll still be able to experience some joy because Rafe has a special night for her planned.

Tuesday’s installment will revisit Abigail (Kate Mansi) as she continues to have nightmares about Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Meanwhile, Steve will witness a “warm moment” between Fynn and Kayla that will upset him.

It’s prom night Wednesday, which is bound to bring some drama for the Salem teens. But the real head-turning storylines are happening elsewhere in town. Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Deimos will celebrate their partnership as Victor and Nicole “seal the deal to bring down Deimos.” What do Victor and Nicole have planned for Deimos? That’s unclear at the moment, but the synopsis for Thursday adds that Victor will try to guilt his estranged brother over Helena’s death.

The Friday, April 29 episode will round out the week with a shocking marriage proposal. Belle (Martha Madison) will suggest to Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) that they tie the knot in Vegas — but is that something he’s comfortable with? Meanwhile, Belle’s daughter will finally catch a break in her career when her prom song becomes an online hit.
