He planted another surprising kiss on her when she was feeling low about her anniversary dinner being rescheduled once again. Now, Ted will stun Hope by confessing he has genuine feelings for her on the Monday, April 8 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) have been struggling lately when it comes to their marriage, specifically when it has come to her insistence that she find something against Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and his tendency to leave town and help out his exes on the NBC soap. As they’ve dealt with their problems, Ted (Gilles Marini) has been waiting on the side, trying to get under Hope’s skin after she pushed him away during his first attempt to kiss her. Now, following Rafe canceling their rescheduled anniversary dinner so he can get answers from Jordan (Chrishell Stause Hartley) about her baby, Hope was down—and Ted swooped in and planted a romantic kiss on her when she didn’t expect it.

Like before, Hope will most likely push him away and reprimand him because she is married. However, he will also take things one step further as he tries to make a case for himself, which will take Hope completely off guard.

“Ted declares his love for Hope,” spoilers reveal.

Naturally, this will be a lot more than she bargained for, especially if Ted tries to point out her problems with Rafe. He may decide to use the fact that Rafe canceled this important dinner on her to help an ex, which could speak to the insecurities she is feeling as his wife. Prior to his going to Jordan, she had begun to wonder if either of them really wanted to be in this marriage anymore, which could make Ted’s timing perfect if he’s trying to put doubts in her head that will make her available.

Of course, considering his history, there could still be another reason why Ted is targeting Hope. If he has something else up his sleeve, Hope could regret it if she throws her marriage to Rafe aside.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
